II.2.4. Description
The Fluxys station in Loenhout is in charge of the compression and the underground storage of the natural gas. In order to provide the distribution network with the quality product, the gas is treated in the 9 desulphurization towers on the exploitation site. The activated carbon used for this purpose has reached a global volume of 180 tons in the last 5 years. Fluxys is looking for the supplier of the activated carbon compliant with the technical specifications to undergo in the specific process conditions as stated in the Annex 1.  After the Qualification phase, the recurring Tendering will take place (yearly or per season) in order to designate the best offer according to the Awarding Criteria. Technical data about the compression site: - Useful storage capacity: 725 million m³ - Quantity of buffer gas: 675 million m³ - Injection capacity: 325,000 m³/h - Transmission capacity: 625,000 m³/h General remark: Before compiling your file, please carefully read ALL of the procurement documents uploaded on the e-Procurement platform e-Notification (via the hyperlink available under I.3) Communications here above), in particular the notice on the existence of a qualification system and ALL Accompanying Documents, including the ESPD request and a separate document describing the conditions for participation your undertaking has to meet.
